It was filmed in several locations, among them Germany and France, beginning in October 2008. The title of the film was inspired by Italian director Enzo Castellari's 1978 film The Inglorious Bastards. However, it is not a remake. Instead, it is set in Nazi-occupied France during World War II, and depicts a plan to assassinate the Nazi leadership. |
